Gloria P. Garza

Gloria P. Garza entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas at the age of 70. She was born on January 27, 1947 to Francisco P. Perez and Aurora Rodriguez Perez in Falfurrias, Texas. Gloria was the matriarch of the family and was deeply loved.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Angel Garza and grandson, Ray W. Gonzalez.

She is survived by her son, Ruben F. (Leticia) Garza of Pasadena, Texas; three daughters, Melinda D. (Ramiro Cadena) Garza of Falfurrias, Marla (Mauricio) Gonzalez of Alice, Texas and Eva G. Garza of Pasadena; sister, Ofilia P. (Baldemar) Johnson of Premont, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren with one on the way and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Services will conclude with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.

The family would like to offer their gratitude to the Falfurrias Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and the entire staff for their hospitality and care during the final years of Gloria’s life.
