Gilberto Orlando Morales

Gilberto Orlando Morales entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 30, 2023 at his residence in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 63. He was born on November 28, 1959 to Arnoldo Moralez and Dora Vecchio Morales in Falfurrias, Texas. Gilberto was a Falfurrias High School graduate and worked for many years at the Brooks County Hospital in Falfurrias and Las Palmas Rehabilitation in Corpus Christi until his retirement.

Our sibling was loud and proud and one of a kind. He had a passion for dancing Tejano, loved the 70’s disco era, a great Jersey supporter and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He loved to tend to his plants. He never met a stranger.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Juan Antonio Morales, Sr.

Gilberto is survived by his brothers, Jose Arnoldo Moralez and Jose Moralez, Sr. all of Falfurrias; sisters, Elvia Viola (Fortunato, Jr.) Garza of Falfurrias, Dora Lee Telles and Melinda Moralez (Joey Garza) both of Kingsville, Texas; his pride and joy, Jolynn, Ilene, Gilbert Lee, Juan and Jose Jr; great nieces and nephews; he was proud of his great niece, Thalia Forest who was the apple of his eye; his Beloved furry pet, Mia and extended family and friends.

A memorial visitation for Gilberto will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams followed by a memorial rosary at 7:00 PM.
