Delia Q. Pulido entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 78. She was born on January 7, 1943 to Ramon Quintanilla and Maria Hernandez Quintanilla in Falfurrias, Texas. She worked as a Dietary Cook with Falfurrias Nursing and Rehab for over 30 years until her retirement. She adored spending time with family and her grandchildren were her world. She enjoyed gardening and loved flowers. Her family will always remember her cooking and baking delicious foods.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents; husband, Roberto G. Pulido and her brother, Rufino Quintanilla.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her two sons, Roberto Pulido, Jr. of Falfurrias and Roel (Margo) Pulido of Corpus Christi; nephew whom she raised, Leonel (Lizette) Perez, Jr. of Damascus, Maryland; three brothers, Ramon (Margarita) Quintanilla, Jr. of Falfurrias, Gustavo Quintanilla of Corpus Christi and Robert Quintanilla of Jacksonville, Texas; sister, Mari (Balde) Vera of Falfurrias; six grandchildren, Alexandra, Deandra, Robert III, Jon Ray, Karista and Krystal Pulido; six great-grandchildren; two great nieces, Layla Perez and Landyn Perez; great-nephew, Levi Perez and numerous, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews and extended family members.
Due to the current ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, attendance for funeral services will be limited to 75 attendees and all are asked to wear masks or facial coverings.
Rosary will be prayed at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 11:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Services will conclude with Burial at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.
