Loving to father to Ann (Kyle) Kolofer, Susan Arnold, Mary (Bret) Young, the late Barbie Kolofer and devoted sidekick Tony, the son he never had. Cherished Papaw to 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Richard was a devoted United States Air Force Master Sergeant and retired as a Master Electrician. He was a crossing guard for Fairview Park Schools after his retirement and always enjoyed being active. He was a proud member of the Silver Wheels Cycling Club and successfully completed the 100 mile ride. Richard was also a member of the Valley Vagabonds Walking Club. A seat at Gina's Place and Canary's will forever hold the memory of Richard.
Richard's daughter's would like to thank the Hospice of the Western Reserve, you were all angel's.

A Funeral Service with Full Military Honors for Richard will be held on Thursday October 17, 2024 at 1:15 PM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273. Please meet at the cemetery by 1 PM.
