MILDRED OLGA “Millie” POTTS (nee Savlan), age 93, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Rowan; loving mother of John J. (June) Smigel, Michael T. Smigel, Robert (Mary) Smigel, Thomas W. Smigel Jr. and Joseph Smigel; grandmother and great grandmother; sister of Betty Miller and 10 deceased; aunt of many.
Millie was a long time member of St. Mary Magdalene Byzantine church where she spent many hours volunteering, working the pierogis sales and the cultural fair. Millie was a staple at the Fairview Park Senior center where you could find her playing card with the other members.
Divine Funeral Liturgy, Saturday, June 8, at 10am in St. Mary Magdalene Byzantine Church, 5390 W. 220TH St. Friends may call at the church from 9am till time of service Saturday.
