Virginia worked for Skinner & Kennedy Calendars Company for many years and retired from what is now US Bank, as a processing clerk. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She enjoyed woodworking, arts and crafts, and sewing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sarah, nee Kreider, Hopper, a step-grandson, Joe Turner; three brothers, George Hopper, Charles Hopper, and Robert Hopper; a sister, Delores Powell; and a brother-in-law, David Vitale.
Surviving are her sons, Michael (Cynthia) Jablonski , Dennis (Loretta) Jablonski, Keith (Sherry) Jablonski, and Gary (Susan) Mathes; her grandchildren, Megan (Simon) Stephens, John Jablonski, and Stephanie (Jake) Hernandez; great grandchildren, Brianna, Michael, Jake, Jr., Matthew, and Joey; a sister, JoAnn Vitale; and a sister-in-law, Mary Jo Hopper; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
