He was born in southern Illinois to Thomas and Cornelia "Connie" Jolley. They preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas R. Jolley, a brother and sister-in-law, James and Geri Jolley, and sister-in-law, Helen Raeber.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys, nee Raeber; a daughter, Carol (Ed) Kienlen; daughter-in-law, Amy Jolley; 3 grandchildren, Stuart (Kelly) Kienlen, Mark (Jennifer)
Kienlen, and Kiana Jolley; three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ryan and Conner Kienlen; a sister, Jane Jolley; a brother-in-law, Leroy Raeber; five nieces, Shelley (Bob) Funck, Jill Cason, Julie (Jay) Dinkelmann, Jamie McCarthy, and Susan (Michael) McCarthy; three nephews, Derrick Crass, Jeffrey Crass, and Michael (Catherine) Raeber. Also many great-nieces and nephews.
Tom was a graduate of Belleville Township High School and Ranken Trade School. He was a long-time member of Plumbers & Fitters Local 101 of Belleville.
He enjoyed traveling and cruising, sports, card playing and gardening.

According to his wishes, there will be no formal services. The family has entrusted Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL with cremation rites.
