Robert "Rob" Douglas Frank

Robert “Rob” Douglas Frank, 46, of Collinsville, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023. He was born June 8, 1976 in Minot, North Dakota to Robert William and Beverly Joy (Adams) Frank. Rob graduated from Collinsville High School in 1994. He was baptized at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Collinsville. Rob was a veteran of the United States Army and served our country for four years. He married the love of his life, Michelle Maxwell, June 6, 2009 in Kentwood, Louisiana. He was a dedicated employee of Amtrak who spent 17 years as a conductor and the past 8 years as a ticket agent. Rob loved sports and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues and Battlehawk Fan, KA-KAW. He also enjoyed collecting baseball cards. You could often find Rob sitting on his porch, with his cigarettes, visiting with friends and family. Family was most important to Rob and he considered himself a proud family man. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors left to cherish his memory include his parents, Robert “Bob” William and Beverly Joy Frank; loving wife, Michelle Frank; dear children, Robert Edward Frank, Elizabeth Nicole Frank and Kayla Elizabeth (Aileen) Lott; brother, Bradley Wayne (Karen) Frank; sister, April Nicole (Larry) Strawn and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.

A visitation for Rob will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, IL 62208. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11:00am in Lake View Funeral Home with a second visitation from 10:00 until time of service. Interment to follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Autism Speaks.
