Paul worked for the Alberici Constructor Company’s, Hillsdale Fabricators, located in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a proud member of the Iron Workers Union Local 518, in St. Louis. His passion was for the outdoors. He enjoyed bonfires and grilling with Brittany and his buddies. Fishing at his "Papa Tony's" with his best friends Josh Anderson and Daniel Legrange, often times with his dad. He cherished those times, spent in the woods with his dad. He was the best "big little brother" a sister ever had. His life's mission was to love and protect her. He watched out for his "Madre" calling just to say hi, always making sure she was safe. He lived a life both his parents were very proud of.
He was so happy with his place in life. He and his beautiful fiancée, Brittany, were excited to be planning their future. He truly loved his job at Hillsdale Fabricators. He worked hard, always striving to do better, learn more and work his way up. He was so proud of his most recent promotion to "fitter", as we all were.
When we think of Paul well always see his gorgeous smile and big green eyes. We'll remember his goofy ways, always wanting to make us laugh and his love for Ebony, the sweet dog he rescued from the street where we lived. We remember his kindness to everyone, his caring and loving ways and how loyal and committed he was to all of us.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul and Georgia, nee Swift, Graves, Sr.; his maternal grandmother, Veda Rapp-Shawver; and his cousin, Jason Baiotto
Surviving to cherish his memory are: his father, Paul Graves, Jr., of Tamaroa, Illinois; his mother, Tina (Pat Basler) Malacarne, of St. Louis, Missouri, his maternal grandfather, Tony Rapp; his sister, Lindsay Graves, of O’Fallon, Illinois; his fiancée, Brittany Hoerchler, of Mascoutah, Illinois; his two lifelong friends, Josh Anderson and Jonathan Kuberski; his four-legged, best friend, Ebony; and many aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
He has gone on to be with his grandparents and Cousin Jason. He will forever be loved and always in our hearts.
