Mrs. Zeigler was an officer with the Order of the Eastern Star and an officer for the Dental Auxiliary. She did some modeling in her earlier years and enjoyed interior design courses. She enjoyed bowling, ping pong, swimming, aerobics, and basketball. She liked dabbling with the computer but used it mainly for her true passion, which was poetry; she loved both reading it and writing it. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Zeigler; a son, Bruce Zeigler; her parents, John and Louise, nee Zimmerman, Monken; and 7 siblings.
Surviving are her children, Barry (Raye) Zeigler, of St. Louis, Missouri, Dinah (David) Caskey, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Charles (Sally) Zeigler, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Thomas (Sheila) Zeigler, of St. Louis, Missouri; her grandchildren, David (Karen) Zeigler, Jennifer (Jackson) Sieber, and Zach Zeigler; great grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Jack, Adam, Ryan, and Jason; and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor David Caskey officiating. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
