She was born March 7, 1955 in Granite City, IL to Lester B. and Thelma P. (Shirley) Sullivan. They preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Alan R. Sullivan and Darrell W. Sullivan; and her niece Krista’s husband, Edward “Dutch” Whittleman.
Linda is survived by her siblings, Dwayne (Joyce) Sullivan of Collinsville, IL, Shirley (Mark) Johnson of The Colony, TX, Brenda (Dennis) Beiter of Triadelphia, WV; nieces and nephews, Laura Sullivan, Krista Whittleman, Jacob Johnson, Kirsten Johnson, Mark (Michelle) Johnson, Caissa Shelton, Daniel (Stephanie) Beiter, Matthew (Colleen) Beiter, Katherine (Justin) Provenzano, David (Brittney) Beiter, Sarah (Nathan) Harshberger, Rebecca (Matthew) Dixon; great-nieces and nephews, Miranda, Brennan, Samantha, Maxwell, Gavin, Virginia, Tyler, Gabriel, Braxton, Braelyn, Noah, Emma, Sophia, Amelia, Benjamin and Joel; her great-great-nephews, Owen and Sebastian; and her neighbor, caregiver and best friend, Karen Harris.
Linda worked and retired after many years of dedicated service from K-Mart in Granite City. She loved to sew and was a talented quilter. She and Karen took several trips to Paducah, KY to visit The National Quilt Museum, where they made memories that will be treasured forever. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial donations in Linda’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Private interment will be held at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL at a later date.
