Keith Roy Hattle Jr.

Keith Roy Hattle Jr., 69, of Collinsville, IL, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022. He was born March 16, 1953 in East St. Louis to Keith and Loretta (Burns) Hattle. As a young man, Keith started working at Shop City Bowl, where his love for bowling sparked. He attended SIUE where he received his Bachelor’s degree. Keith married Kimberly Miller October 27, 1978 in Meadow Heights Baptist Church in Collinsville. He enjoyed his time working for Stock Yards Bank. He ended his banking career at Nations Bank, in St. Louis before becoming a computer programmer for SunGard, retiring in May of 2020. Aside from bowling, Keith enjoyed barbequing and hosting 4th of July parties to spend time with family and friends. He was a member of the Collinsville Rec Club, an avid music lover and enjoyed gardening. He loved golfing and traveling with his wife, Kim. Keith loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his three grandchildren and attending their sporting events. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Hattle; daughters, Leslie (Josh) Basinski and Tegan (Eric Eller) Hattle; grandchildren, Kellen Alexandre, Connor Clifford and Nicholas Keith; sister, Kim M. (Mike) McClure; numerous nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation for Keith will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm in Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, IL 62208. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 11:00am in the funeral home. Interment to follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to the Cancer Society and the Diabetes Foundation.
