Gary served in the US Army from 1967 to 1969 earning a purple heart in Vietnam as a radio communications specialist. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them traveling the world as a son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. His humor, generosity and love of life will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Shirley (Stephan) Stanley in 2006, his parents Raoul Stanley, in 1957 and Maxine Pratt, nee Eddings, in 2015; and a brother-in-law Anthony Pokojski, in 2010.
Surviving are his wife Nataliya of Bonita Springs Florida; his children Laura Casper of Springfield, Illinois and Gary L. (Cynthia) Stanley Jr., of California; his grandchildren Christopher Jordan "CJ" Casper, and Tristyn, Persia, Liberty and Duke Stanley; his sister Deborah L. Pokojski of Trenton, Illinois; and many nieces, nephews and other beloved relatives and friends.
