Carol Agnes Schaefer

Carol was retired from the Bell Telephone Company and was a member of Union United Methodist Church in Belleville, Illinois. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, and belonged to several pinochle clubs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clem J. Schaefer, her parents, Robert and Mary, nee Quiley, Middlecoff, three brothers, Milo, Ivan, and Jim, a sister, Marion and a niece, Betty Hawkins.

Surviving is a nephew, Terry (Kimberly) Lehr of Belleville, Illinois, a great niece, Christy (Justin Kendrick)Sipp, two great great nieces, Kylee Kendrick and Makhayla Sipp, a step daughter, Beverly Collins, three step grandchildren, Scott Collins, Brad Collins, and Tammy Phillips, seven step great grandchildren, five nephews, four nieces, other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm, Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held Monday, February 7, 2011 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois with Rev. Holly Wood officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
