Sarah E. Deree, 36, of New Bedford, passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston on Friday, October 8, 2021 surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was the beloved fiancé of Antonio “Tony” Rocha of New Bedford. Sarah was the youngest daughter of Nancy (Livesley) Deree and the late Jonathan “John” Deree of Fairhaven.
Sarah worked at Little People’s College in Sconticut Neck Road in Fairhaven. She was passionate about spending time with family and truly dedicated to her two beautiful daughters. Sarah also adored her cats, especially Fluffikins and Trixie. All family holidays were important to her, but Halloween was her all-time favorite.
In addition to her mother and fiancé, she is survived by two daughters, Andrea McHenry and Amelia Rocha; sisters, Tracy Brightman and her husband Mike of Acushnet and Karen Duarte of Fall River; two brothers, Kevin Deree and Jason Deree of Fairhaven; six nieces, one nephew and two great nieces.
