James Hart, age 69 of Fairhaven, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019 in the Royal of Fairhaven nursing home. He was the loving husband of the late Patricia (Pemberton) Hart.
Born in Acushnet, the son of the late Willard and Dorothy (Silva) Hart, he was a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Fairhaven High School and went on to obtain his associate’s degree from Bristol Community College.
Mr. Hart served in the United States Army National Guard obtaining the rank of Sergeant. He had a successful career as a Pressman working for Acushnet Co. for many years. He loved his family and enjoyed watching westerns and sports. Mr. Hart was recently inducted into the Fairhaven High School Hall of Fame for Basketball.
He is survived by his children, Kevin Hart, Jennifer Hart Lawrence, Jessica Deshamps and her husband Damon, Michael Wojtunik and his wife Linda and Scott Wojtunik and his wife Jessica; a sister Carol Fletcher and her husband Richard; and his beloved friend Lester Smith. He was the grandfather of many beloved grandchildren.
