Born in Gorzow Wielkopolski Poland, a daughter of the late Henryk and Stefania (Zatylna) Skapski she grew up in Poland before moving to Minnesota, she then moved to Florida where she met her husband and together their life in Fairhaven.
Brigitte was a loving woman who enjoyed getting her hands dirty in the yard and taking care of her husband.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Rachel Taylor of FL and Christina Klose of MN; and a sister, Emily Shuette of MN.
Her funeral will be Thursday, December 19, 2024 beginning at 10 a.m. with a service 11 a.m. in Waring-Sullivan Home at Fairlawn, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven.
