Albert M. Gonsalves Jr.

Albert was predeceased by his loving wife, Arlene (Perry) Gonsalves, his son William Gonsalves, his daughter Kathi Gonsalves and his sister Mary (Gonsalves) Perry.

He is survived by his daughter Barbara Lamy and her husband Roger and Daughter-in-law Donna Gonsalves. Grandchildren, Chris Lamy and his wife Jodie, Karen DeSousa and her husband Ron, Janet Lamy, Jennifer Demailly, Jill Gonsalves and Jesse Gonsalves and his wife Beth. Albert is also survived by six great grandchildren who brought him great joy.

Many remember Al by his delicious chicken from Roselawn Farms, some drove an Oldsmobile bought from him at Park Motors and some are living in a home purchased through Algon Realty. He had many friends from Rotary Club and loved his town of Fairhaven. Albert was a US Navy Veteran having served during World War II.

Many thanks to the staff and residents at Atria in Fairhaven for keeping his last years full of life.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 9 am-10:30 am in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Fairlawn, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 am in St. Joseph’s Church, 74 Spring St., Fairhaven. Burial is private.
