Muriel B Driscoll of Fairfax, VA, passed away peacefully at her home on November 2, 2023. She was born in Albany, New York, on August 10, 1924, to Raymond and Bertha Billsborrow. Muriel was a devoted wife to William Driscoll, and a loving mother to her son Mark Driscoll. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Shirley Driscoll, grandchildren Jeremy (April) Driscoll and Elizabeth Driscoll, and great-grandchildren Madelyn and Logan.
Muriel's love for her family was matched only by her passion for politics and her unwavering support for the Washington Nationals baseball team. Muriel was an active member of her community and a beloved neighbor. She was also an avid supporter of various Catholic organizations and a devoted parishioner of Saint Leo the Great Catholic Church in Fairfax. Muriel was a woman of strong convictions and unwavering faith. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and her contributions to the church and the community will always be remembered.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on November 9, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Saint Leo the Great Catholic Church, 3700 Blenheim Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22030, to celebrate Muriel's life and her journey to eternal peace.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Saint Leo the Great Catholic Church, reflecting Muriel's dedication to the church and helping those in need.
