Charles Michael “Mike” Day Jr, beloved husband, father, friend, and entrepreneur passed away in the early morning on Saturday, October 26, 2024 after a year-long battle with stage 4 lung cancer. Mike meant so much to so many people and will be dearly missed.
Anyone that knew Mike would know his main passions in life were boating, duck hunting, collecting memorabilia of all sorts, and watching football and hockey (Go Raiders and Go Caps!). Mike was also a dedicated businessman, starting as an employee at Jiffy Lube and eventually owning and operating the business himself. A true American Dream story. Mike believed in giving everyone a second chance as he received many over the course of his lifetime. This was a defining characteristic of what made him such an amazing person. Mike’s generosity, intelligence, and kindness will leave an impact on thousands of people long after his death.
Mike is survived by his wife Bridgette of 31 years, son Nicolas, Uncle John Irons, Aunt Rosemary Irons, and Cousins Amy, Bobby, and Sally Irons. Mike was one of a kind. May he rest in peace.
