Eugene Allen Willis, also known as "Gene", "Big Dad", "Brother", and "Ginny", 84, passed on Friday, October 6, 2023. He was a painter and an amazing storyteller! He loved spending time with his family.
His parents, Eugene "Bill" Willis and Agnes Skees Willis; sisters, Mary Ann Rennirt and Amy Farmer; and daughter, Patty Kaercher preceded Eugene in death.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Eugene "Noonie" Willis (Sherry), Glenn Mitchell (Shyann), Penny Jaggers; former wife, Doris Rhodes; grandchildren, Chris and Ripley; great-granddaughter, Mackenzie; extended family, Amanda, Kerri, and Jerry, who he loved dearly and supported; brothers, Gary Willis and Bryan Willis; and his niece, Ronda Dean (Gordon); nephews, David and Dale Farmer.
Visitation for Eugene will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road, 40118. Following the visitation will be a short graveside service at 12:00pm at Mt Holly Cemetery, 800 Mt Holly Rd, 40118.
