William Sorg

WILLIAM H. SORG, age 92 of Fairborn passed away peacefully at the Hospice of Dayton on Tuesday, April 24, 2012. He was born the son of William & Clara (Schieler) Sorg on July 3, 1919 in Cincinnati. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy, brothers Earl Sorg and Robert F. Sorg. He is survived by his daughters, Carole J. (Bill) Toennes of Cable Wisconsin, Margaret Sorg of Fairborn, W. Joanne (Tom) Little of Fairborn, his son Donald E. (Joy) Sorg of Blanchester, Ohio, brothers Tom Sorg, Dan Sorg, and Paul Sorg, a sister Nita Soergel, and a host of grandchildren. Bill served his country with the Army Air Corp, retired from WPAFB as Chief of Motion Picture Laboratory, served as Police Chief of the Village of Enon, and he was a member of Knights of Columbus and American Legion. He will be missed by all who love him. Friends may call on Friday, April 27, 2012 9AM to 10AM at Mary, Help of Christians Catholic Church, 954 N. Maple Ave, Fairborn, Ohio.
