Walter Lamar Longworth

Walter was a WWII Veteran of the US Army, a member of First Baptist Church, Fairborn, Ohio, The Huguenot Society of Ohio, and the Kentucky Colonels.

Walter is proceeded in death by his parents, Jim and Mable Longworth; Sisters Delores Spangler and Donna Martin; Son Danny Longworth, and Granddaughter Toyia Longworth

He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Geneva Longworth; daughter Deborah Goolsby (Gainesboro, TN), Son Jerry Longworth (Xenia, OH), Granddaughter Nina (Ed) Porter (Galloway, OH) Brittany (Joseph) Nolen, (Cookeville, TN), Grandson Lee Longworth (Xenia, OH), Great Grandchildren – David Mattison, Mariah Eldridge, Hunter Mills, Dylan Mills, Owsley Longworth, Bridger Longworth, Addison Nolen, Anniston Nolen, Great-great Grandchildren – Christina Mattison, Avaleigh Mattison, Arabella Eldridge, Eliana Mills, Ryleigh Andrade

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 11am to 12:00 noon at the First Baptist Church of Fairborn, 1167 Highview Dr., Fairborn, Ohio. A Funeral Service will follow at 12:00, with Pastor David Rakes officiating. Burial will be at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn.
