Barbara J. Sears, age 62 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Kettering Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Bernice Mitchell, and a brother, Richard L. Mitchell. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, William K. Sears, son William (Cristin) Sears, grandchildren; William A. Sears (Isabella Richardson) and Cody E. Hatter (Denver Johnson) and great-granddaughter Ensley Mae “Little Butt” Hatter. She is also survived by a brother, Phillip L. (Billie Jo) Mitchell and a sister, Carolyn (Melvin) Maple, her life-long best friend, Sandy Shearer, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the Burcham-Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, OH 45324. Friends may call on the family from 5:30 PM until the service time on Thursday evening.
