December 11, 2024 surrounded by loved ones, after a fearless and strong battle with cancer.
Sharon was born on April 1, 1947 to Michael and Angela Di Peppino in Cleveland Ohio. When
she was 9 months old her parents packed her up along with her 9 year old brother Louie and
moved to sunny Southern California. She graduated from Whittier Christian High School in
1965, where she was a cheerleader and an active member of the debate team. She loved
fashion, spending time with her friends after high school games as well as attending her youth
group at church. Sharon was a strong independent soul who accepted Jesus as her personal
savior as a young girl.
Sharon ADORED her family and friends and was known as a deep lover of them all! She had
two loving daughters~ Shereé Harrington (Donnie), Janelle Hooker (Waymon); six extremely
loved grandchildren~Dominic Amey, Jessica Harrington, Brittany Angelesco (Kevin), Bella
Harrington, Jack Harrington, and Braydon Myles; and 3 cherished great grandchildren~ Audrey
Harrington-Johnson, Vinny Angelesco and Tony Angelesco. Sharon also leaves behind her
beloved nephew Michael Di Peppino (Autumn) and grandnieces Katie and Maggie Di Peppino.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Louie and sister- in - law Loretta. Sharon
also had many long time friends in her life whom she loved very much.
Sharon was an extremely hard working woman. After being a stay at home mom for 10 years,
she began working in the restaurant business which she loved. In order to care for her family
better, she moved onto working as a receptionist at a local credit union and quickly moved up
the ladder to be a branch manager. Sharon was responsible for opening new branches as well
as selecting staff for each branch. She retired from the credit union, so she could provide
incredible care to her father in his later years and was an excellent example of taking care of
your loved one to those around her! After his passing she bravely embarked on a new career at
a physical therapy office in Carmichael, where she was loved by staff and patients.
Sharon had a true gift of “knowing” people, a spirit of humility and a gift of taking care of others!
She had a smile that brightened a room like no other! She helped others embrace their
uniqueness and see their abundant worth. Cooking was her passion! She had a gift in that
area and she loved to love through cooking food for others. Sharon had a knack for creating a
spread out of the simplest of things. Her biggest desire was for others to know Jesus Christ as
their personal savior and be set free! Sharon was a “Tiny Titan” and a true lover of people! She
was kind, caring, compassionate, and to know her was to LOVE her!
You will be missed everyday MOM, GRAMMA, AUNT, and FRIEND! We will LOVE you
FOREVER and ALWAYS!
