Robert Steele passed away peacefully on Friday, April 19, 2024. Born in Omaha, Nebraska on March 13, 1940 to Leroy and Dewella Steele. Bob was 84 years old. He married his high school sweetheart, Carol Marley on July 1, 1960 and they celebrated 63 years of marriage.
Bob was retired from the rice industry in Sacramento as an account manager. He and Carol enjoyed many years traveling, golfing, fly fishing trips, duck hunting, camping, and cruises. He was always fun loving and had a great sense of humor. Bob was an incredibly loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Best Potts ever to his grandchildren Kate (Landon) Bravo, Ryan (Mikayla) McKone, Hailey Steele, Scott Steele, Tim Steele, Christopher Steele and Emmy Steele. Amazing Potts to his great grandchildren Sienna, Camille, Giada and London Bravo and Pierce Steele. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol and their son Scott Steele.
The funeral services will be held at Mount Vernon Mortuary on May 1, 2024 at 11am.
