James Wendling, PhD, age 65, of Fair Oaks, CA, peacefully passed away Sunday morning, January 24, 2016, due to complications following surgery. Dr. Wendling is survived by his wife of 15 years, Mary Ann; his stepdaughters, Alicia Hackbarth, her husband Jim, grandsons Justin and Jacob and Kerri Schneider and her fiancé Kyle Johnson, grandsons Trevor and Cody; and his niece, Tina Bangma of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Margaret Wendling and sister, Terri Wilson. Jim was the founder and CEO of The Wendling Group. A memorial will be held at 11:30am, Friday, January 29, 2016, at the Northridge Country Club, 7600 Madison Ave, Fair Oaks, CA 95628.
