Carol Bradway, 81 of Fair Oaks, Ca passed away on August 3, 2020 in Roseville, CA, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Hilda & Andrew Cuneo and stepson David Bradway Jr. Carol is survived by Dave, her loving husband of 59 years. She is also survived by her son Alan (Julie) Bradway, daughter Karen (Steve) Tuccelli; grandchildren Stephanie (Dave) Gutierrez, Ryan Tuccelli, Melissa Bradway & Justin Bradway; great grandchildren Dominick & Emersyn Gutierrez, Mason, Preston & Ava Tuccelli; sister Annette Patterson, brother Louie Cuneo, sister-in-law Carol (Andrew) Trenholm and many nieces and nephews.
Carol graduated from Norte Del Rio High School in June of 1957 in North Sacramento, CA. She worked for the State of California where most of her years of service were spent at the State Controller’s Office, Division of Accounting. She worked for the state for 25 years and spent an additional 21 years as an annuitant with the state. Carol made the absolute best cakes and over time made all the cakes for the birthdays of staff members within the State Controller’s Office. In addition to the cakes she also handmade/painted hundreds of ceramic ornaments and centerpieces for the offices’ yearly Christmas party.
Carol’s passion was her family. She loved gardening at both her Fair Oaks and Somerset homes, you could always find her cheering on the Sacramento Kings and she would never turn down a chance to go play Bingo. Carol was a true race fan, she loved watching local sprint car races as well as following her favorite drivers in the midget and cup series.
A private family funeral service and celebration of life in memory of Carol will be held Tuesday, August 18, at 10:00 am at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 821 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA 95628. At some point in the future, a celebration of life will be held where all will be welcome to attend.
