It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alona Inocencio Sibolboro, who left this world on December 3, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family at her youngest daughter's home. Born on December 11, 1967, in the Philippines, Alona's journey through life was marked by resilience, love, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Alona was a dedicated and loving mother to her children, Aprilyn, Billbert, Angelo, and Angelica, whom she raised as a single mother with remarkable strength and perseverance, working three jobs to provide for them. Her life took a new chapter when she remarried Ray Amor Sibolboro, and her family grew to include her stepchildren, Krystale and Nathan. She cherished her role as a grandmother, doting on her grandson Roman and her first granddaughter, Mercy.
Family was the cornerstone of Alona's life. She was a devoted daughter to her mother, Belen Tigcal, and a beloved sister to Rusbee, Joy, Jojo, and her late brother, Joven. Her infectious energy, radiant smile, and zest for life left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Alona’s passions included singing, cooking, and hosting gatherings, where her warm hospitality and delicious meals brought joy to countless occasions. Her faith in God was steadfast, and she found great comfort and strength in her spiritual journey.
A viewing and reception to celebrate Alona's life will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Ln, Fair Oaks, CA 95628, beginning at 8:00 AM. A small mass will follow at noon, with burial at 2:00 PM.
