Steven Aarestad

Steven Aarestad passed away July 24, 2024 in Everett, WA surrounded by his three children. He was born March 4, 1948 in Ogden, UT to Eugene & Georgia Aarestad. He worked many years in IT as a systems manager which took him to many places including London, Hong Kong, and the Philippines just to name a few.

Steve was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors as well as computers and gaming.

Steve went from athlete, to coach, to fan. He loved sports! He was a die hard Seattle sports fan and loved rooting for the Mariners, Seahawks, Sonics, and Kraken.

Steve was also a dog lover his beloved Cupid was his faithful companion for 16years.

Steve was always happy to help any and everyone. A "rock," quick to forgive, and always gave "one more chance." He always had a smile and a friendly handshake.

His life journey brought many into his life who truly cared for him. Steve was preceeded in death by his father Eugene Aarestad and sister Kathy Mullen. He is survived by his mother Georgia Aarestad; children Eric (Cheryl Schaap), Troy, and Heidi Aarestad (LaMarr Alexander); step daughters Amy and Becky Bianco; grandchildren Mariah Bianco, Marcell & Josiah Alexander, and Hope Aarestad; sisters Linda(George) Leach, Virginia (Perry) Welch, Melody (Richard) Rudolph, Phebe Aarestad, Heather Carr, and brothers Scott (Amanda) & Robb Aarestad
