Anna Lee Sherman age 95, passed away on June 5, 2018 in Marysville Washington at Winged Angels Adult Family Home. Anna Lee was born on January 27, 1923 to Florence E. and John M. Houk. She was the first born of two other siblings, John and Peggy. Anna Lee was fondly called “Dee Dee” by her family members. In her early years of life, the family lived in Everett, WA and then moved to Juneau Alaska where she graduated from high school. She was also a college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree and worked as a secretary/bookkeeper. She married Bill Sherman Sr. and lived in Everett Washington. They had three children together, Bill Jr., Katherine and David. While raising her children she was active in the church as a pianist and also taught piano. During these years she worked at Cedargreen Frozen Foods in Snohomish, WA and several other companies prior to working at the District Attorney’s office in Everett as a paralegal until her retirement. After retirement she spent time traveling to countries in Europe and abroad. Anna Lee had a full life before being diagnosed with dementia. She is preceded in death by her husband William and son David. She is survived by son Bill Sherman Jr. and daughter Katherine Sherman, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Cascade View Presbyterian Church in Everett Washington on June 15, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. and burial to follow at Cypress Lawn Cemetery in Everett Washington. We are so thankful to “Monica” and “Amy” for their tender and loving care of mother in her final years of life.
