Wilbur D. Jordan

Wilbur D. Jordan, 84, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at his residence. He was born January 27, 1927 in Evansville, IN. He was a lifetime member of VFW 1114, and loved woodworking. Wilburn was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Anna Marie; parents, Clinton and Eula Jordan; sister, Grace Hall; brother, Clifton Jordan. He is survived by son, Brad Jordan (Rita), caregivers since 2007; brothers, Donnie Jordan, Lawrence Jordan; sisters, Viola Nelson, Wanda Chester; grandchildren, Brandy Jordan, Alexis Jordan, Tasha Johnson (Pat); nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery, officiated by Rev. John Hilbert. Friends may visit from 10:00 to 1:00 PM service time Saturday.
