Wanda Lea Ringham, 89, of Newburgh, IN, passed away December 23, 2017. She was born November 8, 1928, in Warrick County, IN, to the late Carl and Lennice (Fuller) Eby.
Wanda enjoyed socializing and never met a stranger. She could always make others feel special and loved. She enjoyed playing bridge, doing crossword puzzles, playing bingo at Bell Oaks Place, and dancing with her husband, Bob. Wanda was a meticulous record keeper and photographer. She was a member of Old North United Methodist Church and often attended Lynnville United Methodist Church; her faith was a very important part of her life. Wanda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 66 years, Bob Ringham, who passed in December 2016; and sister, Grace Hart.
She is survived by her son, John Ringham (Lynn), of Peoria, IL; daughter, Susie Beesley (Keith), of Noblesville, IN; son, Jeff Ringham (Gayla), of Leesburg, GA; grandchildren, Tom (Liz) Ringham, Joe Ringham, Dave Ringham, Brian (Luisa) Beesley, Scott Beesley, Drew Ringham; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, December 29, 2017, at Old North United Methodist Church, Evansville, IN, officiated by Rev. Mike Monahan, with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3 to 7 PM, Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Alexander North Chapel, and on Friday, 10-11 AM, at the Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Old North
United Methodist Church and Lynnville United Methodist Church.
