Steven Robert Reine

Steven Robert Reine, 75, of Evansville, IN passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024. He was born in Evansville, IN on October 7, 1948 to the late Edwin H. Reine and Cecelia (Folz) Reine. Steve attended Mater Dei High School, after which he joined the Navy and served in Vietnam and then went on to spend 39 years at Alcoa. Steve was a devout catholic and member of Resurrection Parish for 39 years. He enjoyed his guitar, games, and guns, but most of all spending time with his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Cecelia Reine; sister, Rosalie Reine; brother, Donald Reine; sister, Kathleen Clark; brother, Anthony Reine; and grandchildren, Victoria Allen and Xavier Reine. Steve is survived by his wife of 52 years, Diane (Strange) Reine; daughter, Lynnette Allen (Scott); son, Brian Reine; daughter, Janell Gardner (Chris); daughter, Danyelle Jost (Matt); grandchildren, Christian, Claire and Sophia Allen, Ashley Reine, Courtney, Austin, Paige and Chase Gardner, Eva, Travis, Cecelia and Gwyn Jost; brother, Edwin J. Reine; sister, Mary Jane Lawrence (Robert); sister, Judy Miller (Dan); sister, Patricia Singleton (Pat); brother, Charles Reine (Pam); and many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Resurrection Catholic Parish, 5301 New Harmony Rd. Evansville, IN 47720, officiated by Father Jerry Pratt. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, June 27, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W.
