Stella Hettenbach

Stella J. Vennard-Hettenbach, 74, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at her home. She was born October 11, 1945, in Lawrenceville, IL to the late Joseph Burton and Clara Maxine Loudermilk. Stella worked at Ivy Tech as an Administrative Assistant for over 15 years. She was a member of St. James West United Methodist Church and also attended McCutchanville Community Church. Stella had been a member of No Names Anonymous since 1999, and was a friend of Bill W. for over 20 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of seven years, Richard Hettenbach, who died in 2010; son, Gregory; sister, Juanita Adkins, and brother, Tom Loudermilk. Stella is survived by her son, John Vennard III; daughters, Jacque Self (Bruce) and Jolynda Phillippe (Kevin); grandchildren, Jonathan Vennard (Cassie), Jonna Vennard, Kayla Halter (Jonathan), Erin Later (Keith), Cynthia Doll (Chris), Alandra Phillippe, and Tanner Phillippe; great grandchildren, Azalin, Eloise, Eva, Lucas and Oaklynn; sisters, Helen Finke and Wanda VonderLieth. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at St. James West United Methlodist Church, 3111 Hillcrest Terrace, officiated by Rev. Gene Backes and Rev. Greg Davis. Friends may visit Wednesday from noon until service time at the church. Contributions may be made to St. James West United Methodist Church or No Names Anonymous.
