She graduated from Central High School in 1956. Ruth was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Riverbend. She loved to travel, especially to Daytona Beach, and adored spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed having pool parties, cooking for her family and friends, her bridge club and spending time with her dog, Fritzy.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Robert Fulton; second husband, William Coulter; son, Michael Fulton; granddaughter, Lindsay Coulter; sister, Virginia Wichser; and brother, Donald Umbach.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Fulton; grandchildren, Matthew Farmer (Ashley), Allison Jerls (Michael), Zoey Rogers (Travis), Jennifer Fulton-Redmond, and Keegan Fulton-Redmond; great grandchildren, Landon Farmer and Oliver Rogers; step children, William J. Coulter, Jim Coulter (Kathy), Cindy Wilson, and Andy Coulter (Darlene); 5 step grandchildren, and 6 step great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday June 5, 2023 at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Kirk Horstmeyer, with burial to follow in Lutheran Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Sunday June 4, 2023 at the funeral home.
