Ronald Lloyd Stokes

Ronald L. Stokes, 68 of Hatfield, IN, passed away July 4th, 2019. Ron was a proud Vietnam Army Veteran, an amazing, loving father, a published poet, welder & builder. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, boating, his dogs & birds. Ron had a big personality with a sense of humor to match. He'd always say his biggest accomplishment was his daughter whom he cherished more than anything. Those that knew him, knew his biggest accomplishment was Ron's whole life. He achieved what most only dream of, a truly happy life filled with love & laughs. Ron is survived by his daughter Emily Stokes, brothers Ray (Julie) Stokes, Barney Stokes, Ed (Sherri) Stokes & Roy Lee Stokes. Along with a wonderful extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy & Edith (Barney) Stokes & sister Linda (Stokes) Land. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, from 3-6 pm at Alexander West Chapel.
