Robert "Dob" Allen Robertson

Robert “Dob” Robertson, 59, of Evansville, IN passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023. He was born on June 5, 1964 in Evansville, IN. He retired from Culligan where he worked for many years. Dob enjoyed motorcycles and his grandchildren. He was an avid story teller and good friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Robertson; and sister, Bertha Hayes. Dob is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Billings (Carl) and Amy Robertson; sons, Robert Robertson Jr., and Nathan Robertson (Mikaylan); 16 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; mother, Essie McAtee; brothers and sisters, Roger “Fuzz” Hoops, Harry “George” Robertson (Faye), Tracey Kirk (Mike), Theresa Moore, Lacey “Buck” Robertson, Mary Phillis (Dave); and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin followed by burial at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Monday, July 24, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to Evansville Rescue Mission.
