Mike served in the Marine Corps Reserves, was a member of the Lessing Lodge
#464, and a lifetime member at Riverbend. He retired from the St. Louis division of the L & N railroad, where he worked and also served as a UTU representative.
Known as Mike, Bob, or Cotton, he was a proud Westsider. He attended Tekoppel grade school and was a 1957 graduate of F.J. Reitz high school, where he met and then married the love of his life, Judy. He enjoyed traveling with her, from their yearly trip to the Great Smoky Mountains, out West, Hawaii, to the more recent day trips, he wanted her by his side. He liked playing the drums, going rabbit hunting, fishing and annual trips to Missouri. He always had a story to tell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert H. and Cora Francis Bozeman.
Robert is survived by his wife of 63 years, Judith Raye Bozeman; their three children, daughter, Debra Deig and her husband, Ronald, daughter, Darla Bozeman; and son, Danny Bozeman; grandchildren, Douglas Gray and his wife, Ashea, Rachel Dierlam and her husband, Jon, and Laura Klarich and her husband, Brian; and great granddaughters, Maya Klarich and Zoey Gray.
Due to the pandemic, and for the safety of others, there will be no funeral service held. A Celebration of Life may be held at a future date.
