Norman was a war time Veteran serving in the Korean War from 1950 - 1953. When he returned home from the war, he attended the University of Evansville where he received a BS degree in accounting. Norman went on to have a successful career at St Joseph’s Hospital where he was later appointed Hospital Administrator from 1969-1985. In 1985, he was recruited by Appalachian Regional Healthcare as the directory of operations, where he worked for many years before he retired in Lexington Kentucky.
Norman felt such peace flying his airplane and being on his sail boat with his family. He will be missed as a great father, friend and uncle.
Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Wright; daughter, Marybeth Wright; and brother, Bud Wright of Colorado.
He is survived by his son, Michael Wright of Indianapolis.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday December 2, 2022 at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Friday December 2, 2022 at the cemetery. The service will be viewable via livestream at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA
