Lora Christine Russell, 75, of Evansville, IN passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Linda White Hospice House. She was born on July 3, 1949 in Evansville to the late John Dee and Mary Lou (Brown) True.

She attended the Nursing Program at the University of Evansville. After graduating as a registered nurse, she devoted 30 years of compassionate service to Nephrology Associates/ Dialysis Affiliates. As an avid crafter, Lora’s favorites were stamping and cross stitching. She was a member of New Horizon Fellowship.

Lora was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald K. Russell; parents, John and Mary; and brother, Mike True.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Russell, Mary Ann Owens (Chad), and Angie Kunze (Kieth); grandchildren, Trevor Hayse (Kristie), Jarod Hayse, Aiden Hayse, Zachary Phillips, Jeramiah Owens, Tyler Owens (Allegra), Ashton Kunze, and Lola Kunze; great-grandchildren, Zoey, Sophie, Hunter, and Liam; and sister, Roxanna Ely.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025 at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Ave., Evansville, IN with Rev. Carl Mann officiating. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, IN.
