Lisa A. Jones-Fluty

Lisa A. Jones-Fluty, 56, of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at her home. She was born on August 21, 1967, in Evansville, IN. Lisa spent her career with Vanderburgh County where she had worked at the Auditor's Office, Weight and Measures, Clerk's Office and the Center Township Assessor’s Office. She enjoyed shopping and was a good cook. Lisa's greatest joy was giving to others. She always showed up with special treats for her friends and family. Lisa was devoted to her family and shared an incredible bond with her niece, Megan. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jerdie (Hatfield) Jones and son, Zachary Tieken. She is survived by her father, Morris Jones; sister, Amy Baggett (Steve); brother, Tom Jones; niece, Megan Baggett, whom she loved dearly; nephews, Nickolas Jones and Erick Rager; and best friend, Bill Fluty. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor David Schulz, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Dr. Anthony Stephens for his wonderful care and friendship.
