Joyce A. Eddmenson

Joyce A. (Dimmett) Eddmenson, 92, of Evansville, IN passed away at home on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. She was born in Evansville, IN on May 23, 1929 to the late Warren and Velma Dimmett. Joyce’s family was always her biggest priority. She was known for her beautiful smile and was loved by all that knew her. She was proud to be hostess for Sunday family dinners, which went on for over 50 years. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, coloring, working puzzles, and playing cards. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Andrew W. Eddmenson; granddaughter, Scarlet M. Robinson. Joyce is survived by her sons, Steve Eddmenson (Linda L.), Gary Eddmenson (Linda M.); daughter, Cherie Robinson; son, Charley Eddmenson; daughter, Angela Stinchfield; 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Pastor David Lee Eddmenson and livestreamed at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.on Sunday, January 16, 2022 and Monday 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
