He enjoyed spending time with his family, most of all his grandchildren. Family Sundays were his favorite time of the week. He also enjoyed fishing and making BBQ for benefits and events.
He was employed with USF Holland and was a member of Teamsters Local 215. He was a volunteer firefighter in Elberfeld for several years.
He was also an active member of North Friendship General Baptist Church in Lynnville, IN.
He was preceded in death by Baby daughter Klein, father Charles Klein, and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Norman Klein and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Horn.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Martha Klein of Elberfeld; mother, Reba Underhill of Evansville; daughter, Melinda Cauley of Elberfeld; sons Rodney McKee (wife Teresa) of Evansville, Joshua Klein of Lynnville, and Jacob Klein of Lynnville (who is currently serving proudly in the Army); grandchildren Emily Cauley, Lauren Cauley, Cayden Klein, and Drake McKee; sister Lisa Turley of Henderson and nephews Jeremy Klein and Matthew Turley of Henderson.
The family would like to thank Pastor, Johnny Hibbs and all of the wonderful family and friends from North Friendship as well as the amazing staff at Deaconess Hospice Center. The family would also like to thank one of the most amazing doctors they have ever met, Dr. Joseph Waling, M.D.
Services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at Alexander North Chapel, with burial at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit on Monday, from 1:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
