Greg was an Environmental Engineer and retired from Louisville Gas & Electric after 40 years. He loved to travel with his wife, and especially enjoyed cruises with dear friends, annual fishing trips to Canada, and any chance to visit with faraway family. Greg was extremely involved in his church, including mission trips to Guatemala with an organization started by friend and Methodist pastor, Tom Heaton. He was known for his ability to fix just about anything, from helping his daughters work through any problem, to helping seniors with their tech needs. One of his biggest passions was restoring his historic red MG. Many folks probably saw him driving around with the top down wearing his favorite newsboy hat.
Greg is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances (Cobb) Black; daughters, Lisa (Black) Zaleski, Erin Black, and Amy Black; sister Betsy (Black) Ott; uncle, Larry Black; grandchildren, Eden Zaleski, Delia Zaleski, Anya Black-Andrade, and Ella Black-Andrade; several nieces and nephews; and his sisters and brothers-in-law.
