Eugene David Palmer

Eugene graduated from Rex Mundi High School in 1961. He was in the Air Force, serving as an Aeronautics Mechanic. He later worked for McDonnell Douglas and Bell-Howell as an Aeronautics Mechanic. Eugene enjoyed airplanes and attending air shows.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his brother, Jerome Palmer; sisters, Shirley Palmer and Rose Mary Peterson; grandson, Joshua.

Eugene is survived by son, David and Terri Palmer of Winter Haven, FL; daughter, Angela and Rick Engler of Evansville, IN; seven grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a service at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Wadesville, IN on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.

The family would like to thank Stephanie Fischer and the staff and management of Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center and Southern Care Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final days.
