Dorothy Jane Anthony

Dorothy Jane (Hughes) Anthony, 96, of Wadesville, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born February 14, 1919, in Dayton, KY, to the late William H. and Elizabeth G. (Desmond) Hughes. She graduated from Newport High School in Newport, KY. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Edwin H. Anthony, in 1983; and her parents. She is survived by her sons, Chris (Janet), Ed (Lynne), Bill (Susie) and Tim Anthony; grandchildren, Jeff (Karen) Anthony, Jennifer (Jason) Watkins, Alyson (Charlie) O’Daniel, Nicholas Anthony, Ryan (Nealie) Anthony, Sallie Anthony, and William (Megan) Anthony, Jr.; 11 great-grandchildren; and cousin, Joyce Weber. Funeral Services will be 12:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Fr.Ted Tempel, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park.
