Donald Ricketts

Donald “Donnie" Ricketts, 60, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Above all things in life, Donnie loved Jesus Christ and is now sitting beside him, safe and wrapped in his arms with his everlasting love –polk.

Donnie was a member of Friendship Southern Baptist Church. He took early retirement after working twenty- three years at Evansville Cable TV / Insight Cable.

He is survived by his sons, Christopher Ricketts (Jamie Gilmore) and Corey Ricketts (Shannon) both of Evansville; five granddaughters, Beronica Ricketts, Kaylee Ricketts, Alyce Ricketts, Keishae & Kaneisha Hooker; and one great grandson, Kaige; sisters, Georgeanne Schulze of Aniston Alabama, Libby Willis of Petersburgh, IN and Kathy Cumbee of Evansville; and brother, Scott Leslie of Petersburgh, IN.

A Memorial Service is being planned for October 1, 2016 at Friendship Southern Baptist Church, 1420 Keller Street, Evansville Indiana. Visitation starts at 1:00PM, service is at 3:00PM. A celebration of Donnie's life dinner will be served immediately following the service: everyone is invited to join the family.
