Donald Charles Molinet

Donald Charles Molinet, 84 of Evansville, IN passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Donald graduated from Reitz High School and Mechanical Arts School in 1952. He retired from Red Spot Paint after 43 years. Donald was a member of St. Matthews Evansville. He volunteered at German Township Fire, Swirca nutrition and the church food pantry. He enjoyed camping, square dancing and attending his children and grandchildren’s activities. Donald received with his wife the “Golden Hoosier Award” for community service. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Stephanie Molinet; 2 brothers, Walter and Kenneth; 1 sister, Delores Schweikart. Donald is survived by his wife of 64 years, Charlotte (Templeton) of Evansville, IN; sons, Steven Molinet of Elberfeld, IN, Donald (Martha) Molinet of Marshall, IL; daughter, Joann (Steve) Tison of Evansville, IN; 3 grandchildren, Brett (Ashley) Tison, Courtney (Jacob Kercher) Tison, Steven Ray Molinet Jr.; 2 great grandchildren, Peyton Tison and Addilynn Kercher; several step grandchildren; 3 brothers, William Molinet of Evansville, IN, Marvin Molinet of St. Louis, MO, Albert Molinet of Overland Park, KS; 3 sisters, Maxine Templeton of Evansville, IN, Betty Anton of St. Louis, MO and Martha Molinet of St Louis, MO; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday June 7, 2019, at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Rev. Tim Judd, with Entombment to follow at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 2-8 p.m. Thursday June 6, 2019 at the funeral home and Friday 10:00 a.m. until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthews food pantry.
