Dennis Keith Hunt

Dennis K. Hunt, 69, of Calhoun, Illinois, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. He was born on June 13, 1953 in Lick Prairie, Illinois, at home, to the late Hershell and Patricia (Miskell) Hunt. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. His passion was wood-working, but most important to him was spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dennis was proud to be a truck driver, he even worked as a truck driver in Iraq during the Iraq War. Dennis was preceded in death by his brothers, Butch, Bill and Timmy; and his sisters, Brenda Massey and Mary Elizabeth Hunt. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Geraldine (Henson)) Hunt; daughter, Jalai Hunt (Brian McKimmyy) of Ft. Branch, IN; son, Jared Hunt (Katy) of Flora, IL; grandchildren, Jordyn Coulter (Jake Thomas), Jakob Coulter, Jenna Coulter, Corbin Hunt, Shaina Hunt, and Clara Hunt; great-grandchildren, Zoey Thomas and Carson Thomas; sister, Susan Webster; brother, Mike Hunt; and sister, Joyce Hadley (Danny).
